The 2004 Whitney Biennial had put Andrea Zittel's house in Joshua Tree on display as a satellite installation. She commissioned me to design and build her glass panel gates, the wrap around hardscape with sunken benchs, the redwood "dock" looking out over the Regenerataion Field, and the site planning and installation of the Regeneration Field.
