This single family residence in Joshua Tree is a second home and satellite office for a graphic novelist. The building consists
of a main volume with a separate master bedroom structure. Both are connected by a covered breezeway.
The
north and east facade of the main volume are comprised almost entirely of sliding glass panels that dissappear into pockets
when open. This allows the breezeway and main space to merge into one immense covered space. The main room consists simply
of a large open kitchen, and generous sitting and dining area.
The photographs below are of the un-finished
working model.
